This place was by far one of my favorite locations I have used as a background for my family portraits. Maui of course being number one.
I saw on Blandy Experimental Farm's facebook page that they had a ginkgo grove and that it was completely lit up with orange and yellow leaves. The images they posted were stunning. Well, I booked a bunch of mini sessions for the following week and sadly, the leaves had all fallen off the tree. It was ok though because the grove had a blanket of fiery orange leaves on the ground which still created an amazing scene for portrait photography.
Lesson learned, I will be stalking Blandy's facebook page in the autumn and right when the leaves are going off, I will be booking family sessions the next day!
I cannot wait to do more Gingko Grove Family Sessions this fall of 2026. Shoot me an email to book a slot with me for mini sessions or full family sessions. This was be a beautiful spot for an engagement shoot as well!
